or, where do you hide YOUR ‘Grimace’
apparently mcdonald’s ‘GRIMACE’ was originally meant to be a large purple tastebud that is also an optimist simpleton whose astrological sign is gemini. well that’s funny because i feel like i have a lot in common with GRIMACE. for one thing, my moon is in gemini AND i feel like an optimistic simpleton most of the time. AND i do like me ole tastebuds.
but i’m not totally like Grimace… i was at the YMCA the other day and there was this older man pumping his feet on this stair machine next to me and on his face he had a visible GRIMACE. like if you looked up the world ‘grimace,’ you’d see his face all twisted in pain. and i didn’t have the nerve to ask him if everything was ok because, well, he was doing the stairs willingly. no one was forcing him. then this older lady came by and asked him the same question i wanted to ask and he said, ‘nope — i always look like this’ and she walked away with a perplexed look on her face.
i wish i had cojones like him. then again, i wouldn’t want to look like a big purple tastebud.
